Adult update
We realize that our blog has mainly turned in to a play by play of the cute stuff our kiddos do. While we know that their grandparents who live far away relay on this, we're beginning to feel left out, so we thought we'd let you know what is going on with the rest of us. Alicia is on a trip to Anchorage. This past weekend she took the TOEFL test (Test of English as a Foreign Language). We are helping her apply to go to the university here in the USA and she needs a good score on this test to be admitted. She is applying to change her au pair visa to a university student visa. Please say some prayers that this process goes smoothly. She also went to the dentist while in Anchorage and had her wisdom teeth pulled - poor thing! Gregg has been busy keeping the kids out of trouble at home. When he gets a little break he's built 2 garden boxes and is working on filling them with all sorts of organic matter from dirt and horse manure to seaweed so that we can grow some vegetables this summer. Other outdoor projects that he's thinking about tackling include a swing set and chicken coop. He's hoping those can be accomplished between days of fishing as the season starts again soon. Elizabeth is keeping busy with work at the clinic and in the ER half of the week. Going back to work hasn't been so bad as she has so much great help at home. She's trying to figure out how to get some exercise each day and is trying to rally to walking or biking to work. She'd like to be doing some knitting but hasn't had enough time lately.
