Accidents happen

If you're reading this could you say a little prayer for Gus? Last night he fell off the kitchen table and broke his leg. He's all splinted up and stuck in bed now. He's doing okay but it's a challenge to keep him entertained and pain free. Plus it's his 4 month birthday today, poor guy.

Oh, poor Gus...and poor E & G! Sending lots of hugs and best wishes for a speedy recovery your way. (And accidents DO happen--today Paul lurched out of my cousin's arms...luckily he caught him in mid-air, and Paul only suffered a bit of whip-lash and a big scare...but it could have easily been much worse).

We pray:
Creator of the Universe and Gus---Take away the pain of your broken creation and re-create a perfect bone for Gus! We trust you for the answer.

PRAYERS FROM THE SCHAFERS! Hope that adorable little cherub is on his way to a full recovery. Babies heal so quickly. He'll be back to his old tricks in no time!!!!! E, I wish I could be near to you to give you a BIG HUG!

:( Poor littly Gus! And poor parents too!!! Sorry... but you are soooooo right. accidents are inevitable. Lilly's trips to the ED can no longer be counted on one hand, and she only turned 3 last week - and has only been home for 2 years!!! But, the scar from the stitches or her face has faded, and the rest of the things never left a mark. Kids will be kids...that it what ages us parents! Hang in there...love, carrie
