We Are Moving

We want to announce that we are moving from Alaska to Wisconsin this summer!  This is a huge project that has been in the works since last summer.  It is an amazing effort to move a family across the country.  Gregg just got back from driving a UHaul truck full of our stuff down to WI and placing it in storage for the time being.  We've been trying to think of some creative, fun way to do this post for awhile but have not come up with anything.  We waited a long time to make this announcement until most all of the details were worked out.  We have sold both of our homes in Alaska (one has yet to close this coming week and we pray that goes smoothly).  We are in the process of buying an old farmhouse and acreage in Wisconsin - when we close later this spring we'll post the details.  We are taking the ferry out of Kodiak on July 9th and will be making a leisurely drive down the Al-Can with our family and the camper trailer.  It is both heartbreaking to leave Alaska and exciting to start on a new adventure.  As much as we love the beauty and life up here ultimately we have decided that we want to live closer to family.  We have chosen a cool little town in SW WI called Viroqua to make our new home.  It's about 1/2 way between Elizabeth's parents in the Twin Cities and Gregg's family in SW WI.  Elizabeth has a job with Vernon Memorial Hospital and the Hirsch Clinic there.  We are excited to enroll Wynne in kindergarten at the Waldorf school this fall.  More details to come....

'Great to hear this, Gregg and Elizabeth! Leon and I would love to see you and the kids again. The Class of 2011 is graduating this June, and we are looking at (between) 75 to 80% of the class going on to college. Time flies so quickly. You both look good!
