For some time now August has been eyeing us as we ate at the dinner table and constantly grabbing for our plates and silverware. We were going to wait until he was 6 months old like we did with Wynne but it became clear he is ready to start eating solid food now. We mashed up a banana and gave it to him and he seemed to enjoy it. We have since then given him rice cereal several times which he eats pretty well.
