Baby......beluga

On the drive home from our walk today we first saw a black bear, 3 Dall sheep, then most impressively a pod of Beluga whales. It is hard to get good pictures of them as they surface rapidly (but often). You can see one to the left of Elizabeth in the middle of the picture. Approximately 30 of them came within 20 yards of us. Gregg had just had the same experience 2 days prior when he got to see the same pod. They seem to be hanging out in the area by the road which just thrills people driving by. If it hasn't been mentioned yet - Alaska is really cool! Elizabeth is almost at 32 weeks now which is also pretty neat.
