Alaska State Fair

Last week Elizabeth went to the close of the Alaska State Fair(Gregg remained at home with a bad cold). It is a rather small fair as state fairs go (there are after all only 800 dairy cows in the whole state). It does though tend to produce some of the largest vegetables anywhere. Some new state and even world records were set this year (one of the pumpkins was over 1,000 pounds).
