Halibut Cove

This past weekend Gregg went to a place called Halibut Cove. It is an artist community on an island across from Homer. Most of the houses are on stilts or built right into the hills overlooking the water and are connected to one another with elevated boardwalks. On his trip Gregg was going to go swimming in a glacial lake with a survival suit so he could jump off icebergs, however, somebody had already borrowed the suits so he just had to jump into Kachemak Bay in just his swimsuit. It turns out the Pacific Ocean in Alaska is very, very cold. Who figured?
