High Tundra Drifter

Gregg and Martes took off on foot Saturday from the house to see how far east they could walk into the mountains. Once above tree line it is much easier to find a route in the high tundra. It is also much cooler and made the 8 hours of walking much easier (or as easy as crossing over three mountains can be). Here Martie stops to take in the pretty tundra flowers (the backpack is so she can help Gregg carry water). Posted by Picasa
